Tom Cruise to pay child support for Suri
The actor will give more than 10 million dollars to Katie Holmes as a pension for her daughter, until she turns 18.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, who announced their divorce last month after five years of marriage, have finally reached an agreement to end their relationship for official purposes. This agreement establishes that the actor will pay more than 10 million dollars (8 million euros) per month as a pension for his daughter Suri de el.
Several sources insist that the rumors that Katie would receive more than 50 million are "ridiculous". The same sources have revealed to TMZ that Tom will pay "a lot of money" for the pension and that the total amount "will exceed 10 million dollars." The artist must pay this amount to his daughter for 12 years, until Suri is of legal age.
Katie has custody of Suri, but the actor will also have the right to visit her frequently.
Both have decided to send a joint statement to clarify some points in relation to their breakup.
