Nobody knows how a movie is made, although everyone thinks so. I've done a lot of movies (and four of them are pretty good I think) and it still amazes me how movies come true. From the flicker of an idea to the flickering image on the screen, the whole process is a miracle. Making movies is very hard work over a very long period of time consisting of so many moments of joy slapped against an equal amount of feelings of self-loathing. Tom Hanks is also beloved by the masses thanks to his role in the Toy Story franchise, movies in which he plays Woody, the leading cowboy who goes on amazing adventures with a group of toys. The saga extended with four films and several animated shorts, consolidating Pixar as one of the most important animation studios in Hollywood, under the mantle of The Walt Disney Company.
But perhaps the most important character in Tom Hanks' entire career is Forrest Gump, as the film is a cult classic that everyone remembers and that probably no other role in the actor's experience has been able to surpass. He is, without a doubt, the best known and for which many knew his face and name.
