Florence Pugh revealed in an Instagram post how hard it was to film the 'crying' scene in the movie Midsommar.

Said scene shows her character 'Dani', in a full panic attack, after discovering her boyfriend.

During this scene, Florence experienced very strong emotions that left a mark on her.

2. Florence revealed that the original scene was much longer and left her with mental scars

In the crying scene, we can see Florence crying uncontrollably, while a group of women imitate her crying.

Florence said that the scene lasted much longer than what was seen in the film, and by the end of it all the women were visibly shaken.

3. Florence revealed that to achieve the crying, she began to imagine dark and terrible things

Florence revealed that it was never easy for her to cry on camera, because she considers crying to be something "very personal".
