The versatile actor and playwright is back, in a single function, with a special chapter of the long-awaited police series 'Laura's Mysteries'
It is not the return that its most staunch fans, eager for a completely new season, might have wanted, but eight years later 'Laura's Mysteries" returns to TVE in a well-respected Tv-movie format with a special episode entitled 'The Mystery of the Murderer' unexpected'. Laura Lebrel, played by María Pujalte, and Martín Maresca, played by Oriol Tarrasón, are back to solve a new and tricky case: to prove the innocence of the inspector herself. So we can meet again with the characters we met in 2009 and who accompanied us for three seasons and 32 episodes full of humor and intrigue.
"These days we have given you a lot of trouble with the return of the mysteries of Laura, but we are very excited to sit on the sofa again and see this long-awaited chapter," the Catalan actor wrote on his Instagram wall before thanking the fans of the series "who have always been insisting that we return and you have succeeded".
Oriol says goodbye, remembering that he is "today playing the sofa, blanket and watching this wonderful special episode" in what will mean his return to embody one of the roles that have given him the most popularity. Of course together with that classic after dinner that is 'Love is forever'. With the closing of his ninth season, he had to say goodbye to several characters, including Abel, the tough but affectionate soldier who Oriol played.
"Thanks to the entire team, technical, artistic, and, of course, the public. See you next time!" The actor said from his Instagram wall as a farewell to a character, a real heartthrob, who has become one of the most loved by the public and one of the most emblematic of his career.
The ladylike facet has always haunted this multifaceted artist who admits to smiling when flirting and who saw how his life changed radically when he was doing his third year of Philosophy. It was then that, after listening to a talk about theater in his college bar, he dropped out to enter the Barcelona Theater Institute. As he confessed in an interview for 'The newspaper', "I always think that if I hadn't done it, I wouldn't have been an actor, because I got very stressed during the castings."
He declares himself a fan of crime novels, a great fan of chess, and has even taken his first steps in the world of painting, inspired by the skills of his father, and music. Together with his two brothers, he formed a group called Dos Pasos, with which he came to release an album and perform numerous concerts. Undoubtedly a Renaissance man updated to the 21st century.
But in the end, acting prevailed over his musical career, a facet that he has successfully and carefully combined since 2008 with his work as artistic director of the theater company Les Antonietes, with which he has obtained numerous successes.
The theater has also served to bring out the most supportive facet of him. Thus, in 2016 he participated as a director in the show 'From Damascus to Idomeni' at the Teatre Lliure in Barcelona, which served to raise funds to help refugees from the Syrian war.
But his concerns go even further and he even has a poetry blog, 'Drowning in a glass has merit', in which we can read little poems like this one that begins like this: "My nephew laughs, screams, sings and goes out of tune every morning. He's happy. I wonder if he'll always be like this."
Together with his nephews, we see him show off his family on Instagram. His secrecy in this sense is such that even in a photo in which he appeared sharing a kiss with the actress Mamen Camacho, the Barcelonan clarified in capital letters that he had not married, that it was only the promotion for the play 'Dollhouse '.
