Amber Heard has sold her California home to move to the outskirts of the capital
"I can reveal that Heard left Hollywood and discreetly moved to Spain with her little daughter Oonagh," as published by the Magazine.
The American actress, who has lived through a fierce legal battle with her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, "is bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise," according to the quote that the journalist who The news signer, Alison Boshoff, attributes it to a friend of Heard's.
"I don't think she's in a rush to get back to work or Hollywood, but she'll probably be back when the time is right for the right project," she adds.
Already last October she was photographed in Mallorca but, apparently, she had moved to the outskirts of the Spanish capital permanently with her daughter.
On the Mediterranean island, Amber Heard "is like one of the others, she buys fruit and vegetables, speaks Spanish with a Mexican accent, and is very polite, she always says good morning to us," said a merchant from Costitx, a small town with 1,270 inhabitants.
The actress had rented a house from the family of Maria Antònia Munar, the one who was president of the Consell de Mallorca for 12 years.
The interpreter sold her house in California less than a year ago for 1.1 million dollars.
Amber Heard's last work was Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom in 2021, due out later this year, and a modest thriller, In The Fire.
For that job, four million signatures on the Change.org platform called for the actress to be fired from her.
For his part, Johnny Depp, in the shoes of King Louis XV, stars in the historical drama Jeanne du Barry with which the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival opens.
Jeanne du Barry has been heralded as Depp's comeback film after his explosive trial last year with his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Depp and Heard accused each other of physical and verbal abuse, after which a civil jury awarded Depp $10 million in damages and Heard $2 million. In December they reached a legal agreement.
