The Duchess of Sussex will soon begin updating her Instagram profile as part of her strategy to return to public life following the cancellation of her podcast.
The so-called 'Meghan effect' has continued to lose strength in recent months. The recent cancellation of her podcast Archetypes and, by extension, the million-dollar contract that linked her to Spotify denotes, in the opinion of many, that the Duchess of Sussex no longer generates as much expectation as before.
His professional relationship with Netflix has not had the expected success either: some of his most ambitious projects, such as the animated series Pearl, were directly discarded by the platform, while the documentary Harry and Meghan also did not enjoy the expected impact last December.
Meghan Markle is working on renewing her professional and media profile
Between June and July, several reports emerged indicating that Prince Harry was preparing to take center stage in the couple's media life. To keep his agreement with Netflix alive, the son of Carlos III would have proposed to the company the production of a documentary about his close ties - and those of his late mother, Lady Di - with the African continent. Meghan's involvement in this project would be testimonial, or completely null.
While waiting to officially know what the marriage is up to cushion the decline in her popularity, sources close to her assure that the former actress is working very hard to renew her professional and media profile.
It should be remembered that Meghan signed a contract this year with the prestigious representation agency WME, which would be helping her in the process. Her strategy would happen, first of all, to start cultivating that Instagram profile that the artist created in 2022, just before starting the broadcasts of her late podcast in August of that year.
Meghan Markle prepares her return to public life on Instagram
Her account on the platform currently has 2,420 followers, a not inconsiderable figure considering that she has not published anything. From her trusted circle, it is stated that Meghan will transfer to Instagram the interviews and other content that she offered in her extinct program, through regular live broadcasts.
"Meghan's idea was to do direct on Instagram, but that was before she launched her Archetypes podcast. Now she wants to resume those plans," an insider told the Page Six news portal.
The same medium reveals that Meghan Markle would have immersed herself in intense negotiations with numerous commercial brands, to develop various initiatives linked, in one way or another, to her well-known social activism. Among them, the luxurious jewelry brand Cartier would stand out.
