Adriana Nieto starred in “Crazy Love”, but the production replaced her while they were recording the soap opera. The Mexican actress was out of the world of acting for 15 years.
In 2000, Adriana Nieto and Juan Soler were the star couple of “Crazy Love”, the successful Mexican youth soap opera produced by Roberto Gómez Fernández for Televisa. The fiction received great acceptance from the public based on the love story between the rebellious student Natalia Sandoval and the school psychologist Enrique Gallardo.
However, from one moment to the next, Adriana Nieto left “Crazy Love” and was replaced by Iran Castillo. The reason is that the actress refused to kiss her partner, whom she supposedly complained about smelling of alcohol. Furthermore, her behavior began to change until the production decided to remove her from it.
Once she left Televisa fiction, the Mexican actress retired from acting for several years and her return to soap operas has been gradual. In fact, in 2019 she indicated that she would like to work with Juan Solier again. That opportunity she also said that she regrets having left the world of acting, but that it helped her to be close to her family.
“I think I matured, and that was the most important thing. I was very young when I isolated myself from the environment. Now I have three children and obviously I have become more responsible, I value things more, each achievement,” she said in an interview for the magazine in March 2019.

After she departed from “Crazy Love”, Adriana Nieto married Francisco Alanís in 2001, with whom she has three children: María José, the eldest, and her twins Camila and Juan Pablo. Ten years later, she divorced.
She returned to television and theater in 2015.
She is currently part of the cast of the series “Like the Legend”, where she plays Martha, the mother of Ulysses, the protagonist of the story. Additionally, soon, we will see her in the biographical series of the legendary Mexican film actress Silvia Pinal, where she will play Sylvia Pasquel, daughter of her diva.
In 2017 she reappeared in the final stretch of the first season of the series “The Pilot”, where she played the wife of the elected president of Mexico, a character played by Gerardo Murguía. She has also participated in several theater works. In fact, in 2018 she shared credits with the actor Ignacio López Tarso and the actress Erika Buenfil in the staging “The Father”.
It is worth mentioning that in recent years Adriana Nieto had participated in some chapters of the uniserie “Como dice el Saying”, in addition to dedicating herself to theater in Mexico City.
