The Colombian actor talked about his new romantic relationship and sent a hint to his ex-wife.
There is no doubt that Carmen Villalobos and Sebastián Caicedo were one of the most popular couples in Colombia and had earned all the love of the public, so their separation was a real surprise for many of their loyal fans. They were together for 13 years, but it was after a decade that they decided to take the next step and reach the altar.
The actors got married in 2019 and in July 2022 they were already announcing their separation. The news generated all kinds of speculation but it took more than a year to find out what had really happened between them.
It was Sebastián Caicedo who decided to break the silence and reveal the true reason that led him to divorce Carmen Villalobos. Everything happened due to his participation in the program Buen día, Colombia, and he expressed: "When we had our differences, as any relationship has, it was not to look in God for that cord of three folds, but to suddenly look towards friends, other people who can suddenly talk to you.
"That little snowball grows and gets out of hand. At that moment you say, my God, when did this happen," the actor added, making it clear that there were more involved in their breakup.
Now, the leading man once again referred to his relationship with Carmen Villalobos but in a less direct way. What happened was that he talked about his current partner, the businesswoman Juliana Diez, and expressed: "An unexpected love, as if longed for, along with a friendship full of complicity and desire to take on the world. Thank you beautiful monkey for showing me the way to the true meaning of love and friendship: Jesus".
In this way, Sebastián Caicedo made it clear that what he feels is that he did not know true love until he met Juliana Diez on the way. Or at least that's how his followers interpreted it, who were outraged by his words, criticized his current romantic relationship and even one of them wrote: “So with Carmen, it wasn't true love? Your post doesn't make sense, Sebastian."
