The report presented by authorities determined that the young actor's death was the result of intoxication caused by strong drugs.
At the end of July, it was learned that the actor Angus Cloud, one of the stars of the drama Euphoria, had died at the age of 25. The sad news left his cast mates and mainly his family devastated.
Cloud rose to fame with his role as Fez on HBO's Euphoria. After the push, he began to participate in other productions, including music videos and films such as North Hollywood from 2021. Before his death, he managed to finish other projects, such as the films Your Lucky Day and Freaky Tales, an untitled film that is also in the works directed by the people responsible for Scream and Scream VI.
On July 31st, Oakland police officers swiftly responded to an urgent call for assistance. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers discovered Angus Cloud devoid of any vital signs. Since that moment, speculation has swirled regarding the circumstances leading to his untimely demise.
According to a report by Variety, the Alameda County Coroner's Office has disclosed that Angus Cloud's passing was the result of an accidental overdose involving fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and other narcotics. The cause of death was attributed to "acute intoxication resulting from the combined effects of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines," as detailed by the coroner's office.
In an official statement, the actor's family expressed solace in the knowledge that Angus has now reunited with his father, who was his closest confidant. They further noted Angus's candidness about his ongoing struggle with mental health, hoping that his passing could serve as a poignant reminder to others that they are not alone in their battles and should not suffer in silence.
