Nicole Kidman is an American-born Australian actress, producer, and singer who has received a long list of accolades throughout her career, including two Primetime Emmy Awards, five Golden Globe Awards, and one Academy Award nomination from four. In addition to this, Nicole was ranked among the highest-paid actresses in the world in 2006, 2018, and 2019, and “Time” magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2004 and again in 2018. However, not everything is the color of roses in the life of the actress, and she has gone through somewhat tumultuous marriages such as the one she had with Keith Urban.
Keith Urban is an Australian-American singer, songwriter, and record producer who was part of the popular band called “The Ranch.” In this band, the singer recorded a studio album in “Capitol Nashville” and released two singles on the "US Billboard Hot Country" Songs chart. However, he was not the only man in Kidman's life since the actress had previously been married to Tom Cruise.
Tom, the American actor and producer, is the winner of three Golden Globe Awards and is one of the highest-paid actors in the world. The actor's films have grossed more than $10.1 billion worldwide, making him one of the highest-grossing stars of all time. Nicole Kidman met Tom Cruise in 1989, shortly before starting production on “Days of Thunder,” a film in which they both starred together. The couple subsequently married just a year later in 1990 and adopted two children in 1992 and 1995.
Sadly, the couple's love would not last since in 2001, Cruise filed for divorce and the marriage was dissolved in August of that year. The producer cited irreconcilable differences. However, years later in 2006, Kidman stated that she still loved Cruise: "He was huge; he still is. To me, he was just Tom, but to everyone else, he's huge. But he was charming to me and I loved him. I still love him.” However, that same year Nicole would marry once more.
Love continues for Kidman who is currently in a relationship with country singer Keith Urban, whom she met in “G. Day LA”, an event honoring Australians, in 2005. Nicole married Urban on June 25, 2006. Later, in an interview in 2015, Kidman said: "We didn't really know each other, we met during our marriage". However, few know about the million-dollar premarital agreement that Kidman and Keith signed. This agreement states in a clause that Urban would not receive any compensation after the divorce if he used drugs, but if he behaved, he would get more than $600,000 per year of marriage with the actress. The agreement was created because of Urban's past with drugs and addictions.
