However, in 2000 they ended their relationship after 13 years of marriage. Contrary to public opinion, not everything was so magical in their marriage.

In 1987, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore met at a movie premiere and before anyone knew it, they were married a few months later. Demi recalled: “She told me, 'I think we should get married.' "We had been joking about it, but suddenly it didn't seem like he was joking."

In her 2019 memoir, Inside Out. My Life, Demi Moore candidly shared her personal struggles, her childhood, and her relationships, including her marriage to Bruce Willis. She revealed some details about her love story, such as the beginning of their courtship and her marriage.

Moore and Bruce were totally in love with each other. They were both ready to start a family, so Demi became pregnant in just 4 months, on her wedding night. They have three beautiful daughters: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Shortly after, once the star lost the pregnancy weight, she was ready to return to work and continue her career.

Moore was keen to return to the big screen, but Bruce had a different opinion. He wanted her to stay home and be a full-time mother, saying, “This is never going to work if you're away filming a movie.” Despite what he wanted, Moore got several jobs and started working again. Demi said she was tormented: he was too “controlling” and she was “rebellious.”

Bruce made it difficult for them, insisting that they couldn't work and be parents at the same time. Moore tried to make it work, taking her daughter to the filming of We Are No Angels and constantly adjusting her schedule to that of her husband.

Eventually, Bruce decided that he no longer wanted to be married. He couldn't stand the attention she received.

Demi Moore recalled: “I wanted a family and a home, but I also craved excitement and novelty. Basically, she wanted to do whatever she wanted. He was 36 years old, and he was also famous and had money. So, imagine it.”

What she wanted also included sleeping with other women. At least that's what Demi Moore suspected. She believed that Bruce Willis was cheating on her with January Jones.

They had spent a lot of time apart because of their jobs, which went against Willis's rule of not working at the same time. Friends close to them revealed that the demands of the job, along with extended periods of filming in different parts of the world, were putting pressure on their marriage.
