Four years after their high-profile separation, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt now enjoy a cordial relationship. The ex-couple has reached a point where they can finally amicably co-parent their six children. The road was not easy, there was a lot of family therapy involved.

At the end of June, it was learned that the actor had gone to the house where the protagonist of "Maleficent" is with his sons and daughters: Maddox (18 years old), Pax (16), Knox (12), Zahara (15), Shiloh (14) and Vivienne (12). Artists can now live together for the good of their children.

"They definitely needed help resolving the custody issues and how Brad could be a father again," a source told People magazine. "As the children are older, they are no longer dealing with Angelina's separation issues," she added.

"It has taken them a long time, with family therapy, to get to this point," the source continued, explaining that the tension between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has thawed to the point that the youngest children are going back and forth between both homes. "Brad loves spending time with them. He seems happier," he noted.

LONG DIVORCE

Pitt and Jolie married in 2014 after meeting on the set of the film "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" (2005). They separated in 2016 and, finally last year, were declared single although the divorce process continues.

During the pandemic, both Hollywood actors have focused on their family and their respective charitable causes.

JOLIE'S WORDS

According to what she told Vogue, the protagonist of "Maleficent" decided to mark the end of her relationship for the good of her family, and she believes that this was the best decision so that her children can heal from that pain.

“I separated for the well-being of my family,” revealed Angelina Jolie. “It was the right decision. I continue to focus on healing them. “Some have taken advantage of my silence and children see lies about themselves in the media, but I remind them that they know their own truth and their own minds.”
