Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met to try to reach an agreement before their trial

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been facing a long judicial process since they separated in 2016. Their differences and the disagreement over the custody of their 6 children have led them to have constant media troubles.

According to The Blast newspaper, the war could come to an end after the 54-year-old actor decided to approach his ex-partner to reach an agreement that would allow them to be close to their children, before the trial that will define custody.

Sources close to the couple told the media that they both “realized that the ongoing fight is only harming the children.” This person also notes that the couple's goal is to “conclude negotiations before the custody trial begins.”

It is known that the person who took the initiative was Brad Pitt, who thought of "persuading her" before a hearing that "would cause lasting psychological damage to her children." “There will be no winners, no matter what the judge decides,” the actor reportedly told the source.

The trial in question is scheduled to take place this Tuesday, December 4, and will last between two to three weeks, according to TMZ.

In addition, it was reported that, although Angelina Jolie fights for Brad Pitt to receive minimum custody, the agreement they maintain "will include a substantial amount of time granted to the actor." It is known that they have not yet signed this agreement.

If they do, both will have to start a new meeting to put their finances in order, because they did not reach a prenuptial agreement when they got married on August 23, 2014, in France.
