The revelation came while she was chatting with the guest of the day, none other than "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star, Brad Pitt.

Pitt reminisced that they had met at a Melissa Etheridge party in the late '80s and playfully suggested he was making a move on his then-girlfriend.
The banter continued with DeGeneres asking, "Was I really trying something with your girlfriend?" Both shared a laugh, with Pitt expressing that he felt flattered.
However, the surprise came when DeGeneres playfully confessed, "Actually, I feel like I've dated another one of your ex-girlfriends. We'll talk about that later," to which Pitt quipped, "After the show." Their exchange was lighthearted and filled with laughter.
While DeGeneres didn't disclose the identity of the ex-girlfriend in question, she did share with her audience that she had recently celebrated her 11th wedding anniversary with her wife, Portia de Rossi, marking the special occasion in December 2018.
The couple has been together for a remarkable 16 years, and DeGeneres commemorated the moment with a touching black and white photograph from their wedding day, captioned with, "Happy anniversary, Portia. 11 years. My favorite number with my favorite person."
