During a speech at Stanford University, Zuckerberg criticized the film's creators, stating, "They can't seem to understand that someone can build something just because they like to build things."
He vehemently rejected the portrayal of his character in the movie, emphasizing that everything about it is inaccurate, including the plot involving a fictional character, Erica Albright.
Zuckerberg highlighted the significant differences between the film and real-life events, although he humorously acknowledged that some tangential aspects were accurate, such as the portrayal of his wardrobe. Despite the film's release last month, Facebook had not previously commented on it.
