Described as a chameleonic actress, Vega embraces the challenge of portraying a variety of personalities throughout her career, avoiding being pigeonholed into any specific genre.

In an interview with Notimex, Vega expressed her commitment to versatility, stating, "In my short career, I have tried to be as chameleonic as possible and not to be pigeonholed into any genre. I love the novel, I love it, and I will not stop doing it, but I am also looking for other horizons."

Known for her inclination towards authentic and nuanced roles, Vega has taken on diverse characters in soap operas, series, and theater productions. From a boxer in "Cloroformo" (2011) to a teibolero in "Sin cura o adiós le dice" (2011), and even a murderer in "Mujeres Asesinas" (2010), she constantly seeks roles that challenge her and allow her to explore different facets of her craft.

Reflecting on her approach to acting, Vega explained, "I am an actress who really likes the real and the tangent. I love crying scenes and strong things. I like to play characters in which you are not always the good and pretty; you have to dare to discover yourself."

Vega acknowledged the demanding nature of television work, emphasizing the challenges that come with it. Despite the pressure, she remains committed to making her mark in every role, stating, "I have always tried to put my mark on everything I do."

As the lead in the telenovela "A Refuge for Love," Vega recognizes the responsibility that comes with such a role but underscores that the success of a project depends on various factors beyond the actors. She commented, "The most important thing is to get that responsibility out of your head and do what you know how to do every day."

In preparation for her character "Luciana" in the current telenovela, Vega opted to start from scratch and not reference previous versions of the character. She described "Luciana" as a mature, focused woman who faces challenges and evolves, showcasing the character's journey from a maid to a successful businesswoman.

Vega expressed her affinity for the classic love story genre, believing it endures despite the exploration of new genres in the industry. She hopes the audience identifies with "Luciana," a character with flaws and virtues, making her relatable and authentic.

Amidst the challenges of portraying complex characters, Vega has built strong relationships with her co-stars, including Gabriel Soto, Brandon Peniche, Roberto Blandón, Laura Flores, and her close friend Jessica Coch. With a genuine passion for her craft, Zuria Vega continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic and chameleonic performances.
