In a fleeting moment of candor, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram on Monday to share a heartwarming photo of Ranbir Kapoor with their daughter Raha.
However, the post was swiftly deleted, only for Ranbir to later share the same image on his Instagram account a few hours afterward. This move adds to the couple's efforts to maintain privacy around their daughter, Raha, as they had previously requested paparazzi not to capture her images earlier this year.
Alia's original post featured a candid moment of Ranbir seated beside Raha's stroller. The image captured Ranbir, dressed casually in a t-shirt and shorts, gazing affectionately at Raha, whose visibility was intentionally obscured from the camera. Despite the post's removal, the candid snapshot made its rounds on social media, with fan pages preserving the moment even after its deletion.
Later on Monday night, Alia revisited the same photo, reposting it on her Instagram with a lighthearted caption that read, "I have become the best photographer since November 6 (smiley face emoticon) My world." The playful caption added a touch of humor to the endearing moment shared with her followers.
Ranbir Kapoor has previously expressed his desire to shield Raha from undue media attention. During a conversation with his cousin Kareena Kapoor on his show, Ranbir shared, "So as parents, we will try to protect her (Raha's privacy) as much as we can." Emphasizing their wish for her to have a normal upbringing, Ranbir stated that they aim to provide her with a life free from unnecessary spotlight.
Ranbir and Alia exchanged vows on April 14 last year in a private ceremony at Ranbir's Mumbai residence. Their joyous announcement of expecting a child was made in June 2022, followed by a heartfelt request to paparazzi in January not to photograph their daughter. Recently, the couple marked their first wedding anniversary with a celebration outside their under-construction house, and Alia shared unseen photos on Instagram to commemorate the special occasion.
Having last appeared together in "Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva" (2022), Ranbir and Alia continue to shine individually in the film industry. While Ranbir's "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" released last month, Alia has a packed schedule with projects like "Animal" directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Karan Johar's "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani," co-starring Ranveer Singh. Additionally, Alia is set to make her Hollywood debut in "Heart of Stone," scheduled for release on Netflix in August, and will feature in Farhan Akhtar's "Jee Le Zaraa" alongside Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
