Gabriel Macht and Sarah Rafferty shared filming with the Duchess of Sussex and have revealed what their favorite moment of the wedding was.
The royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continues to be a topic of conversation, and will surely do so for much longer. After the wedding, many guests ventured to comment on the event or leak some details about the reception and banquet to the press. Janina Gavankar, a friend of the Duchess of Sussex, already revealed why everyone was laughing in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, and now it has been other close friends of the new Nottingham cottage tenant who have thrown more light about the party.
These are Gabriel Macht and Sarah Rafferty, two actors who were Markle's colleagues when she played Rachel Zane in the lawyer series 'Suits'. The two artists were one of the 600 privileged people who were part of the wedding guest list, and now they have told during an interview for Entertainment Tonight what their favorite moments were and how one of the events of the year developed.
Rafferty said that she was proud to have seen her friend walking down the aisle and that "it was a wonderful and special moment." For her, that was the best moment of the wedding and she confesses that "seeing her enter on her own, at that moment before meeting Prince Charles to continue the rest of the way, was incredible." Prince Harry's brother had to walk the bride down the aisle because his father, Thomas Markle, could not attend the wedding due to his heart problems.
Elton John concert
For his part, Macht commented that the moment he enjoyed most of the celebration was when Elton John gave a live concert during the lunchtime reception. "It was amazing to see him play 'I'm Still Standing'. It was amazing and an amazing moment." The singer, a close friend of the late Princess Diana of Wales, mother of Prince Harry, promised to play some of his most famous songs to commemorate the union. In addition to the song mentioned above, 'Candle In the Wind' and 'Tiny Dancer' were some of the songs that were played during the evening.
