Meghan Markle will go down in history as the Duchess of Sussex, but before becoming a royal she had a past as an actress.
In addition to her role in 'Suits' (2011-2018), a series in which she worked for seven seasons, the American starred in a controversial scene in 'Sensación de vivir: The new generation' (2008).
The sequence in question appears in the pilot episode of the series, titled 'We're Not in Kansas Anymore'. Prince Harry's wife stepped into the shoes of Wendy, a young woman who is caught performing oral s-x on her high school classmate, Ethan, played by Dustin Milligan. Her role in the reboot of 'Sensación de vivir' (1990–2000) was brief, since in addition to the aforementioned chapter she only filmed another one, titled 'The Jet Set'.
But this is not her only unknown work as a performer. One of her first projects was 'General Hospital' (2002). She appeared in one episode playing Jill, a nurse. According to the book 'Meghan Markle and Prince Harry' by Simone Payment, “her father helped her get this role thanks to her contacts from having worked there.”
Years later we were able to see our protagonist in 'Love is what she has' (2005), giving life to a character that was credited as 'Hot Girl'. In the film directed by Nigel Cole she shares a scene with Ashton Kutcher. The actor played Oliver Martin, who sits next to Markle on a plane.
Throughout the nine seasons of 'CSI: New York' (2006) she has had numerous cameos. The Duchess appeared in the seventh episode of the third series, titled 'Murder Sings the Blues'. She played Verónica Pérez, a maid who becomes a murder suspect when one of her millionaire clients dies.
Some may not know that Meghan Markle also worked on the reboot of 'Fantastic Car' (2009). Archie's mother was seen in episode 14 of the first season, titled 'Fight Knight'. On this occasion she played Annie Ortiz, a soldier who becomes a fighter.
In addition to appearing in 'CSI: New York', Kate Middleton's sister-in-law also participated in another acclaimed investigative fiction: 'Fringe' (2009). On this occasion she acted in two installments of the second season. The one who is also one of the great fashion references currently got into the shoes of Amy Jessup, junior agent of the FBI.
But perhaps the most unknown facet of her is as a television hostess. The Californian worked on the 'Deal or No Deal' program (2006-2007) in a total of 34 installments. In the format, broadcast in the United States on NBC, her task was to guard a briefcase that contained one of the contest's cash prizes.
