Meghan Markle stylist reveals her secrets to being the imperfect princess

George Northwood has been one of the people who has had the most contact with Meghan Markle in recent years. During the Duchess of Sussex's time as a member of the British royal family, the stylist has been in charge of Prince Harry's wife's image in many of her appearances.

Now that the actress' time in the British crown has ended, George has given an interview to 'The Telegraph' in which he has revealed some secrets about his work with Meghan. Some of the people who have worked with her over the years have criticized her way of being, but George has shown a completely opposite attitude and fondly remembers the time they have spent together.

The stylist has revealed that in addition to some of the gestures she has made in public, Meghan also wanted to be close to citizens through her image. “She wanted to be an imperfect, accessible princess, she wanted to be the princess of a people with whom everyone relates,” is the intention that Prince Harry's wife wanted to convey through her hairstyles. To achieve this, George has stated that she has made it very easy for him during the years they have worked together.

The stylist has explained that he has tried to convey this image by giving a lot of prominence to Meghan's hair, one of her great hallmarks. Loose hair, a simple ponytail or updos with loose strands like the one she wore at her wedding are some of the hairstyles that the actress has done the most to convey that “Californian style” that she likes so much.

In addition to revealing the intention that Meghan wanted to convey with her image and how they worked on it, George also gave his opinion on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. For him it has been “a privilege” to work alongside them. He wanted to thank the couple who “not only defend small businesses, they have taught me a lot about diversity, equality and mental health.”

As a farewell, George shared a post on Instagram in which he wished Meghan, Harry and Archie “all the luck in the world in this new stage.” He has also said that he hopes to see them very soon and that they are very happy now that they have started the life they were longing to have.
