Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be holding on to the terminated Spotify deal, as it is still featured on the Archewell website.

DO YOU THINK I AM BLIND! Spotify ROASTS Harry And Meghan For Not Removing Deal From Website

The couple initially signed an exclusive $25 million deal with the streaming service as part of their efforts to achieve financial independence after stepping back from the royal family. Unfortunately, the partnership was cut short last summer after producing only one podcast. Despite this setback, the Sussexes have not removed the Spotify deal from their achievements listed on the Archewell website.

In their pursuit of financial freedom from the royal family, Harry and Meghan expressed their commitment to building relationships and forming partnerships with various platforms. The Spotify deal, however, faced an abrupt end last summer, drawing public criticism from an executive who labeled the couple as "effing grifters." Despite this, the Sussexes continue to mention the partnership on their website, describing Archewell Audio as their newly formed audio-first production company.

Under the exclusive partnership with Spotify, Archewell Audio aimed to reach the platform's 180 million premium subscribers and 406 million monthly active users worldwide. The Duke and Duchess, through Archewell Audio, produced podcasts and shows that aimed to uplift and entertain audiences globally, focusing on diverse perspectives and voices. The podcast series, titled "Archetypes," ran for 12 episodes, featuring conversations with celebrities like Paris Hilton and discussions about stereotypes leveled against women throughout history.

The decision to part ways with Spotify was described as mutual in a statement by the Sussexes. They expressed pride in the series they created together. Following their recent appearance in Jamaica, speculation has arisen about the possibility of Harry and Meghan seeking a new deal with Paramount, especially considering their Netflix contract is set to expire next year, with uncertainty about its renewal.

Rumors suggest that the couple has several new projects in the pipeline with Netflix, including a prequel to Great Expectations and an adaptation of the Kylie Fortune novel "Meet Me at the Lake." However, there have been no confirmed projects from Meghan's signing with talent agency WME last April, raising questions about the future of these potential deals. The uncertainty surrounding their projects with various platforms adds to the ongoing speculation about the trajectory of Harry and Meghan's post-royal career.
