'Suits' star Gabriel Mack recently shared his views on the potential return of Megan Markle to the popular American legal drama.
In the process, he seemed to avoid the topic of Megan, who gained fame as an actress before marrying into the British royal family in 2018. Megan was renowned for her portrayal of Rachel Zane in "Suits" for seven seasons, concluding in 2018 when she married Prince Harry. At that time, Megan announced her retirement from acting, expressing her intention to focus on her new responsibilities as a working member of the royal family.
However, in 2020, she and Harry scaled back their royal duties and stepped down as senior working Royals, relocating to the United States. As the Sussexes gradually re-enter public life, speculation has arisen about Megan's potential return to acting, with rumors suggesting a possible reprisal of her role as Rachel Zane. Gabriel MCH, a former co-star who portrayed Harvey Specter in the series, recently broke his silence on this possibility.
Speaking to the Mirror ahead of the Golden Globes, Gabriel responded to a question about how much money it would take to bring Megan back, humorously deflecting the inquiry by stating, "I think the question is how much money would it take to bring me back in the drama." Gabriel, known for his role as Harvey Specter, played a significant part in the legal drama, particularly in Season 2 when his character faced off against Robert Zane in a gender discrimination case involving Rachel Zane.
In contrast to Gabriel's response, Gina Torres, who played Jessica Pearson in the series, was asked about the prevalence of "Suits" stars at the Golden Globes. She acknowledged the cast's presence but revealed they had no specific plans or coordination, emphasizing that Megan's return would depend on her own choices.
Despite the cast's appearance at the Golden Globes, it was noticeable that Megan Markle was not included in the "Suits" cast reunion. Only Patrick, another cast member, spoke positively about Megan. This absence led to speculation about Megan's career trajectory, with some asserting that her career in acting might be over.
Commentator Angela Levan further fueled the speculation, claiming that Harry and Megan were not invited to the Golden Globes, suggesting it as a potential consequence of their actions. Comedian Joe Koy also took a swipe at the couple during the awards ceremony, mocking their lucrative contract with streaming giant Netflix.
