The latest installment, Bad Girls, a musical film, hit theaters with much anticipation, featuring a fresh cast including Renée Rapp, Angourie Rice, Bebe Wood, and Avantika Vandanapu as the new bad girls, succeeding the original cast.

Despite Lindsay Lohan attending the New York premiere as a guest of honor, Leslie Sloane, the actress's representative, revealed to The Messenger that Lohan was dissatisfied with the new version. The discontent stems from a specific line in the script that brought back memories of a hurtful insult – 'fire crotch.'

Expressing her surprise and bewilderment after the premiere, Lindsay Lohan, who had faced bullying with the 'fire crotch' insult years ago, felt deeply hurt and disappointed upon encountering it in the new Mean Girls movie, as per her representative. The term is derogatory, shaming redheads for their pubic hair and carrying connotations of s----l promiscuity.

Tina Fey, the actress who portrays Mrs. Norbury and serves as a screenwriter and producer, has not yet addressed Lohan's concerns regarding this particular line in the script.

The roots of Lindsay's displeasure with this label can be traced back to 2006 when Brandon Davis made derogatory comments about her, leading to the infamous "crotch of fire" insult. Despite the passage of years, it seems that Lohan has been unable to forget the hurtful episode, and the recent film reference has reignited those painful memories.

The insult resurfaces in the film through a TikTok video, where the quote reads, "Okay, so someone sent me this look and I thought: Hot girls, we're back in red, the 2000 fire crotch is back." Lindsay Lohan's emotional reaction underscores the lasting impact of hurtful words and the deep scars they can leave, even after the passage of time.
