Prince Harry and Meghan, along with their children Archie and Lilibet, opted for a heartwarming family vacation in Costa Rica ahead of the Christmas holidays.
Reports indicate that the couple spent a delightful week in the country, basking in the warmth and exploring tourist destinations such as Zapotal, Nandayure, and Guanacaste.
Photographs published by Costa Rican media outlet "CR Hoy" captured the Duke and Duchess of Sussex enjoying a leisurely golf cart ride with their daughter Lilibet.
While their son Archie was also part of the family getaway, there are no recorded images of the little boy accompanying his parents. Notably, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose a private house over a hotel for this pre-Christmas escape.
The family embraced a few days surrounded by nature, stepping away from their usual whirlwind of activities. Prior to their Costa Rican retreat, Harry and Meghan had also spent time in Portugal in September and enjoyed a beach vacation in the Caribbean during October.
Meghan Markle expressed her joy for the festive season in a recent interview with "Variety" magazine, where she shared her favorite Christmas tradition, emphasizing the joy of cherishing every moment with their young children.
Reflecting on how their journey began, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle first met in 2016 through a blind date arranged by a mutual friend. Their engagement was announced a year later. In an interview with the BBC, Meghan revealed that, at the time of the blind date, she knew little about Prince Harry and only asked her friend if he was a kind person. Conversely, Harry admitted he was unfamiliar with Meghan's work in the series "Suits," where she played the character Rachel Zane.
Their relationship progressed rapidly, and after a few more dates, they went camping together in Botswana, southern Africa, creating cherished memories beneath the stars. The couple announced their engagement on November 28, 2017, and the rest, as they say, is history.
