Snoop Dogg, who once stated that he used to smoke up to 75 or more marijuana cigarettes a day - information that he later denied - announced this Thursday that he will stop smoking.
“After much consideration and conversation with my family, I decided to quit smoking. "Please respect my privacy at this time," the artist said in a message posted on his official Instagram account.
Snoop Dogg is married to Shante Broadus, with whom he has three children.
The artist accompanied the statement with a black and white photo, somewhat solemn.
In past interviews Snoop Dog had mentioned that his beginnings with cannabis dated back to the tender age of nine. He pointed out that it was at the time when he tried the also called kush.
