The public confrontation between the famous women began after Taylor complained to Kanye West, Kim's husband, for calling her a "bitch" in "Famous", a song that, according to the West couple, Taylor heard and approved prior to its release. After the controversy generated, Kim called the pop star a "hypocrite" and got her followers to associate her with the snake emoji.
More than a year has passed since that media episode and this week Tay Tay announced through Instagram the launch of her new single “Reputation” and she did so accompanied by a video showing a snake.
It is evident that the viper is a direct message to her enemies and, surely, it is not only directed at Kim, since she has also had conflicts with Kanye West, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Nicki Minaj and Calvin Harris. Everything indicates that Taylor Swift comes with everything and against everyone.
Since Taylor announced her return, her fans began commenting on Kim's tweets with snake emojis, however, strangely, on Kanye West's wife's Instagram account there was not a single trace of this emoticon.
According to Buzzfeed, everything indicates that Kim blocked the snake emoji from her Instagram account and did so with the same tool with which Tay censored the negative comments that arose when she started her fight with Kanye West.
Judging by the title of her new single, Tay Tay is tired of the image that has been imposed (or earned?) on her over the past few years and we believe that with this new song she will seek to put her name on it aloft.
