According to reports, Cindy Morgan lived with a friend in Lake Worth Beach, who notified the police after arriving from a vacation and receiving no response when contacting the actress. This would have occurred on December 30.
Who was Cindy Morgan?
Cynthia Ann Cichorski, of Polish and German descent, was born on September 29, 1954 in Chicago and attended Catholic school for 12 years.
She studied Communications at Northern Illinois University, where she also served as a DJ on her college radio station. Later, she worked at a television station in Rockford, presenting the weather; while in 1978 she moved to Los Angeles.
There she studied acting and in 1980 she landed her first film role in the hit comedy “Caddyshack,” playing the seductress “Lacey Underall.”
Meanwhile, in 1982 she starred in the science fiction film with Jeff Bridges, “Tron”, where she played two characters: “Lora”, a computer programmer and “Yori”, her alter ego.
During her long career she participated in multiple films, such as “Empty Sky”, as well as television series such as “The Larry Sanders Show”.
For her part, Cindy Morgan adopted her stage name from the literary character Morgan le Fay, whom she discovered when she was 12 years old. She also wrote a book about her life story and was a fervent supporter of the US military. This is because her father was a World War II veteran.
