Printar and Meghan Markle have recently received another security warning regarding their residence in Montecito, California.
This comes after the neighborhood was targeted by a notorious gang of thieves. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were away in Jamaica, attending the premiere of a new biopic on Bob Marley. Just last month, a property mere minutes away from their mansion fell victim to a burglary orchestrated by the same gang, notorious for their attempts to crack safes.
This incident adds to a series of security breaches the couple has faced since their relocation to California in July 2022, with their mansion being subjected to six break-ins within the first 14 months of their move.
Known for sparing no expense on security, the Sussexes annually allocate millions to safeguard their home. They've even enlisted the services of Christopher Sanchez, a former security guard for Barack Obama. However, despite these measures, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office, represented by Officer Rachel Zick, has issued a statement indicating a recent surge in burglary reports within the vicinity.
These incidents share striking similarities in terms of targeted properties, timing, and stolen items. The perpetrators seem to favor unoccupied residences bordering open spaces like golf courses, creeks, streams, or the ocean. Most burglaries occur between 6:00 and 10:00 PM, with the latest ones recorded on January 24th, 2024, in Montecito and Carpinteria.
Meanwhile, recent revelations from an insider suggest financial challenges for the couple. Despite their opulent lifestyle, Meghan reportedly faced difficulties securing a loan in Los Angeles. Instead, they opted to rent a property adjacent to their mansion. Allegedly, Meghan's income, primarily from Harry's employment at BetterUp, didn't meet the loan criteria, which typically requires annual income documentation.
The source also hinted at potential tensions between the couple regarding the loan amount. It's speculated that Meghan's desired loan exceeded four times Harry's annual income, leading to rejection. With uncertainties surrounding future income and significant mortgage debt, Meghan's financial situation appears strained. Rumors swirl about her temporary stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel, possibly indicating financial strain and potential looming evictions.
