Blake Lively has sparked controversy on social media after making reference, supposedly in mockery, to Kate Middleton's retouching of her last image.
If there is a name that has been on the lips of half the world in recent weeks, it is Kate Middleton. The health of the Princess of Wales has occupied a multitude of headlines and articles, as well as theories - some of them very bizarre - that try to explain why the British royal family is keeping so much silence around her.
The version they give is that she underwent surgery for an abdominal problem at the beginning of the year. Since then, she has not made any public appearances and Kensington Palace has not offered any further details about her condition.
The only official image of her is the one she published on her Instagram account along with her children for Mother's Day, which was celebrated in the United Kingdom on March 10. However, it was soon discovered that she had been manipulated, fueling theories about how she really is.
She has not escaped the memes either and it seems that the latest to join in has been Blake Lively with a controversial post on Instagram.
The actress, always very active on social networks as demonstrated by her taunts at Ryan Reynolds, has unleashed a wave of criticism towards her for, as many have indicated in comments, making fun of Prince William's wife and joining the cyberbullying that she is suffering.
The 36-year-old performer founded the beverage company in 2021 and announced on her Instagram that she was launching four new flavors: "I'm very excited to share this new photo that I just took today to announce our 4 new products. Now you know why I status missing".
In the first photo, the Gossip Girl star is visibly deliberately retouched, as discovered in the viral image of Kate Middleton.
After this, the publication was flooded with comments from many fans complaining about her attitude: "I am very disappointed in you, Blake. I can't believe you are making fun of a good woman and mother on social networks. We just celebrated the International Day of Women where we criticize the cyberbullying of women. And here you are doing just that. Your children are watching people like you bully their sick mother. Imagine your children in this situation.
