NO ROLE FOR YOU! Deal Or No Deal Boss SHUT OUT Meghan From Reboot Series

Joe Manganelo's "Deal or No Deal Island" brings a refreshing twist to the classic NBC game show. While the setting has undergone a transformation, some core elements remain intact.

NO ROLE FOR YOU! Deal Or No Deal Boss SHUT OUT Meghan From Reboot Series

Notably, original cast member Claudia Jordan recently made her debut on "Deal or No Deal Island" as a competitor. However, this begs the question: could Megan find a role in this revamped series?

The original "Deal or No Deal," hosted by Howie Mandel, was filmed on a Hollywood sound stage in California. Contestants faced the nerve-wracking decision of whether to claim the cash amount hidden within a sealed box or accept an offer from the mysterious Banker.

In the new iteration, contestants are whisked away to the Banker's Private Island. Their mission: to locate briefcases scattered across the island, each containing a value exceeding $200 million. Their ultimate challenge? Outwitting the Banker in this high-stakes game of "Deal or No Deal."

Interestingly, Megan Markle once graced the stage as a briefcase model during the show's second season, which aired from 2006 to 2007. With her former castmate Claudia Jordan now participating in the reboot's inaugural season, speculation arises about Megan's potential involvement in "Deal or No Deal Island."

When asked if a certain princess might appear in the series, Manganelo cryptically responded, "You'll have to tune in and see." Given Megan Markle's history with the show and her past comments, her appearance on "Deal or No Deal Island" seems like a distant possibility.

Reflecting on her time as a game show model, Megan discussed the role in a 2013 interview with Esquire, acknowledging it as a means to make ends meet. She described it as a learning experience, though admitted the discomfort of wearing heels for extended periods while waiting for her number to be picked. Megan's reflections highlight the contrast between external appearances and internal substance, a sentiment she shared with Paris Hilton during a podcast episode.

Former "Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Deal or No Deal" model Claudia Jordan countered Megan Markle's claims on her Instagram story in 2022. Jordan emphasized that production treated all briefcase girls equally, selecting models based on their outgoing personalities rather than intellect. She refuted the notion of being reduced to mere eye candy, asserting that the show provided numerous opportunities for its models.

Lucas Green, the chief content officer for Ban, the company relaunching "Deal or No Deal," also weighed in on Megan's criticism. While acknowledging the show's evolution, Green dismissed the notion of reducing its models to "bimbos." He emphasized the ongoing efforts to modernize the format, ensuring it aligns with the company's values and broader societal norms.
