Pedro Almodóvar has enjoyed a plan in Madrid with the singer Dua Lipa along with the actresses Julianne Moore, Tilda Swinton, who are the protagonists of his new film The Room Next Door.
Pedro Almodóvar is currently filming his new film The Room Next Door. This new project will be the Manchego's first feature film in English and features Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton as its main protagonists.
Let us remember that the filmmaker already worked with Tilda in his short film The Human Voice. And, it is common for the director to work with international actors as in Strange Way of Life with Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke.
The Next Room tells the story of a very imperfect mother and a spiteful daughter separated by a major misunderstanding. Between them, another woman, Ingrid (Julianne Moore), a friend of her mother, is the repository of both of their pain and bitterness. Martha, the mother (played by Tilda Swinton), is a war reporter and Ingrid is an autofiction novelist.
In the middle of filming the film, Pedro went out to eat in Madrid with the actresses, but they were joined by a very well-known face, the singer Dua Lipa. The person in charge of showing this meeting has been Pedro's brother, Agustín Almodóvar, through a photo that he uploaded to his Twitter account.
"Dua Lipa visits #LaHabitaciónDeAlLado", he writes next to the image where we see Pedro among the 3 women at a table at chef Dani García Bibo's restaurant.
What we don't know is if Dua Lipa will appear in the film or will I make a cameo or is it just a visit to the set since Almodóvar and she have a beautiful friendship. In fact, they already saw each other last January, during another visit by the artist to Madrid.
In addition, Dua Lipa has been seen in the Spanish capital with her boyfriend, actor Callum Turner. Both have been photographed walking down the street, specifically on Goya Street. And then they were in one of the trendy nightclubs in the city.
The pop star is one of the most successful artists in the music industry but she has already made her first steps in film. First it was in the movie Barbie where, in addition to providing voice to its soundtrack, she also played the role of Mermaid Barbie.
Furthermore, she also appears in the film Agylle, starring Henry Cavill where she plays the role of Lagrange.
