Nicole Kidman wanted to pay tribute to her career by sharing some images from her first film, Bush Christmas, when she was only 14 years old.
Nicole Kidman is in luck as she is the first Australian to receive the AFI Life Achievement Award. A very special day that will take place this April 27 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
"Nicole Kidman, a powerful performer, a fascinating movie star and an accomplished producer, has captured the public's imagination throughout her prolific career, delivering complex and versatile performances on screen," were the words with which the organization honored the actress's career.
For this reason Nicole wanted to remember the first film she worked on, 1983's Bush Christmas: "This 14-year-old girl could never have predicted all the talented people she would work with and the different characters she would play. I am very excited to celebrate with so many friends and colleagues on Saturday with the American Film Institute," he writes on Instagram.
In her post we see a video of some of her images in the film where we see Kidman very changed with her characteristic curly copper hair, with which she became known in the first years of her career as an actress.
At 56 years old, she is fortunate to be one of the most established actresses in Hollywood with great films behind her that will always be remembered in the mecca of cinema. In addition to having been awarded or nominated multiple times and having won the Oscar for Best Actress for Las Horas.
