They dined at Lucky's Steakhouse on Saturday, accompanied by friends Brian Robbins, a Paramount executive, and his wife Tracy, a designer. The two couples were previously photographed together at the Jamaica premiere of "One Love," a Bob Marley biopic starring Kingsley Ben-Adir and Lashana Lynch, back in January. They have reportedly grown close during Meghan and Harry's time in the United States.
Tracy was among the first to receive a batch of jam associated with Meghan's new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, and she posted a photo of the basket on her Instagram account, praising the jam.
Ironically, the anniversary celebration, often referred to as the "sugar anniversary," ended on a sour note when Meghan reportedly walked out of the restaurant, leaving Harry behind. Rather than a private celebration, they were joined by work colleagues, indicating that their social circle might consist mainly of people who flatter them rather than true friends. The choice of venue was starkly ironic given Meghan's supposed animal rights advocacy. Adding to the awkwardness, they had their bodyguard with them, highlighting ongoing tension between Harry and Meghan.
