The reason why the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to keep Meghan's small visit to England hidden is not known.
Prince Harry undertook a solo trip to England, leaving his family behind, to support King Charles III and Kate Middleton, who are facing a difficult time after being diagnosed with cancer, and to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. However, it was recently revealed that Meghan Markle was also present in London before heading to Nigeria.
The actress would have made a brief stop in the country to meet with her husband before continuing their trip to African lands, where they had a three-day tour scheduled in Nigeria. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose to keep Meghan's brief visit to England discreet.
The couple arrived in Nigeria this morning without the company of their children, Archie and Lilibet, and it is speculated that they will stay at the well-known Transcorp Hilton hotel. According to information from the Daily Mail, both traveled on a British Airways night flight, separated from the rest of the passengers by a curtain.
Since arriving in Nigeria, both Meghan and Harry have met with officials and students at Wuse Lightway Academy, where they discussed mental health issues with the children. Additionally, they plan to meet wounded military personnel and attend a conference organized by Unconquered, a local charity.
During a casual conversation with children at Wuse Lightway Academy, Prince Harry openly shared his experience of the impact of losing a loved one on mental health. "A lot of people avoid talking about it because it's invisible, something that's in your mind and you can't see it. It's not like a broken leg or a broken arm; it's something we still have a lot of doubts about, but every person in this room , from the youngest to the oldest, has mental health," said Prince Harry, supported by Meghan Markle.
