The St. Felix center shared a photo of the Duchess of Sussex from her time volunteering at the charity.
From her time as an actress on the series "Suits" to her role as the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to various charities.
Recently, the Duchess used her "12 Days of Christmas" initiative on Instagram to highlight the work of St. Felix, a Canadian charity she collaborated with during her time in Toronto.
The organisation, which serves more than 20,000 meals a month to homeless people, thanked the Duchess for including it with a photo of her from her time volunteering at the center.
During her time in Toronto, while working on "Suits," Meghan Markle was a passionate supporter and volunteer for the St. Felix Centre. She regularly contributed in the kitchen as part of the Community Meals Program and donated food from the set of "Suits." On one Thanksgiving, she brought food for more than 100 people.
The organization expressed its gratitude to Meghan Markle by fondly remembering her as "the lovely Meghan." Furthermore, they expressed their joy at seeing that she continues to support vulnerable people even after her entry into the Royal Family.
Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched their "12 Days of Christmas" show, which highlights 12 of their favorite charities for those who need it most.
"It's an important time of year to help those around you who may be less fortunate, or who would appreciate even the smallest act of kindness," the couple wrote on Instagram. "Fortunately, there are many organizations around the world doing good at global and local levels, many of which are not on Instagram."
