Expectations grow about Kate Middleton's possible presence at Trooping the Color

As Kate Middleton pauses public activities due to her battle with cancer, royal fans are watching June 15 to see if she will participate in Trooping the Color.

Royal expert Christopher Andersen exclusively told Us Weekly: "The Princess of Wales could make an appearance on the balcony; I don't think that would take too much effort for her. But if she doesn't, it will be sad and it will send the message that her condition could be more serious than we think. We just have to wait and see."

One of Kate and her husband Prince William's regular responsibilities is to attend Trooping the Colour, the monarch's annual birthday celebration in June. William, 41, and Kate often bring their three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, to watch the military parade from the Palace balcony of Buckingham. During Trooping the Colour, the Royal Family is usually made up of King Charles III, who is also battling cancer, and his wife, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate, along with his children. King Charles' siblings Princess Anne and Prince Edward, along with their spouses, also often appear on the balcony for this occasion.

The Color Parade will take place on Saturday, June 15, but details about who will be present on the balcony have yet to be officially confirmed. Kate's possible absence at this important event has sparked speculation about her health and increased expectations about her participation in one of the most significant traditions of British royalty.
