The royal family is reportedly incensed over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's recent unofficial tour of Nigeria.
However, this hasn't deterred the couple from planning further globe-trotting adventures. Harry and Meghan received an invitation to visit Nigeria from its Chief of Defense, Brigadier General Tuka Guso. During their visit, they participated in cultural activities and met with service members. Despite the backlash, Meghan is now spearheading a plan to expand their presence in more Commonwealth nations.
Harry and Meghan spent three days in Nigeria last month. Prince William and King Charles were reportedly furious about the trip, as the couple was treated like royals despite visiting as private citizens. However, the alleged reaction from the royal family is unlikely to stop them from making similar trips abroad. According to an unnamed source, Meghan and Harry aren't surprised by the royal family's disapproval.
They are disappointed but not deterred and are committed to arranging more tours. Their conscience is clear, as they intend to do good wherever they go. The source added that the Sussexes are spreading a positive message and have no plans to limit themselves to the Commonwealth. They aim to outdo the royals in terms of impact and reach, remaining unfazed by potential friction with the royal family.
Meghan is currently drafting a blueprint for future tours, with a team pitching ideas on the best places to visit, who to meet, and which charities to support. Interestingly, it appears that Harry and Meghan reached out to Nigeria, not the other way around, hinting at their proactive approach. The plan for a world tour aligns with their goals of uplifting communities globally. Despite stepping back as senior royals in January 2020, they vowed to continue their duties to the Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages. However, their recent activities have reportedly left King Charles and Prince William furious.
Despite the royal disapproval, Harry and Meghan are determined to pursue their philanthropic goals independently. For Harry, this mission is inspired by his mother, Princess Diana, and Meghan shares this outlook, having been involved in humanitarian work long before meeting Harry. The issue isn't the charitable work itself but the couple's approach, which the royal family sees as a publicity stunt and a refusal to adhere to royal protocols. Harry and Meghan dismiss these accusations, claiming they are simply accepting offers that come their way. They have trips planned well into 2025, with Ghana next on their itinerary. They are excited about these opportunities and focused on their humanitarian work regardless of the family's disapproval.
Royal expert Tom Quinn suggests that King Charles is now prioritizing efforts to prevent the Sussexes from receiving further invitations from Commonwealth countries. Quinn claims that the King might use back channels to block any future invitations to the couple. He admits that this will be challenging after Nigeria, but significant efforts are being made to change how the royal family handles its role in the Commonwealth. Official steps have already been taken to lessen the chances of other Commonwealth countries inviting Meghan and Harry, indicating a strategic shift in the royal family's approach.
THIS CHARADE WILL NEVER END UNLESS BOTH OF THEM ARE STRIPPED OF ALL THEIR GIVEN TITLES! WHEN ON EARTH WILL THIS HAPPEN????
