NF Cancels Meghan Markle's Cooking Show as Martha Stewart Refuses to Be Guest Chef

Reports indicate that Meghan Markle is struggling to keep a chef for her upcoming culinary-based Netflix series.

NF Cancels Meghan Markle's Cooking Show as Martha Stewart Refuses to Be Guest Chef

Allegedly, her off-putting behavior has driven away world-class culinary experts. Recently, Roy Rogue on YouTube broke the news that Meghan has cancelled her cooking show, news that has yet to be published elsewhere. The show, initially set to highlight cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship, fell apart due to Meghan's discomfort in the kitchen and her micromanaging tendencies.

A successful screen test by Harry suggested he might take over as host, which may have prompted Meghan to cancel the show herself. This pattern is not new; Meghan often captures attention but fails to deliver.

This situation recalls the termination of Meghan's Spotify deal, where Bill Simmons bluntly labeled her and Harry as "effing grifters." Following that debacle, Meghan sought a contract with Audible, Amazon's podcast arm, but eventually landed with Lemonada Media, a relatively obscure company. While this partnership might have boosted Lemonada's publicity, it was typical of Meghan's approach—grabbing headlines and making grand promises, only to deliver nothing. Shortly after the deal was announced, Meghan claimed she was too busy creating content for Lemonada due to her filming commitments with Netflix. Consequently, she pushed her obligations to Lemonada to 2025.

Lemonada likely did not pay Meghan upfront, especially after witnessing her failure with Spotify, opting instead for a pay-as-you-go arrangement. Yet another organization fell prey to Meghan's pattern of over-promising and under-delivering. Her inherent laziness and belief that her mere presence would suffice is misguided. Creating content, brands, and companies requires hard work, something Meghan appears unwilling to commit to.

There was a glimmer of hope with the cooking show, which seemed like a strategic move to secure more payment from Netflix. Reports suggest that filming did not take place at her Montecito mansion but at another property, which also had a cannabis farm. Harry might be thrilled, but given Meghan's track record, the likelihood of this cooking show airing is slim. Her previous ventures, such as her march on Washington with Gloria Steinem, her parental leave campaign, the 40x40 mentorship scheme, and her Spotify content, all resulted in minimal outcomes. Her children's book, "The Bench," and the limited Netflix content also failed to make a significant impact.

The cooking show was also meant to promote her American Riviera Orchard brand, showcasing products like branded rolling pins and bowls. However, this brand appears to be floundering with no CEO, launch date, or products, only an Instagram account and some jars of jam and lemons. Without anything substantial to cross-sell, the show seems pointless. Netflix executives are likely to cancel it, seeing no value in promoting a non-existent brand. Meghan's entitlement and laziness, driven by her narcissism, are likely to ensure this cooking show remains another no-show.

In summary, Meghan Markle's cooking show was doomed from the start. Her consistent pattern of over-promising and under-delivering, combined with her laziness and sense of entitlement, make it unlikely that this show will ever air. Meghan's delusional belief that her presence alone can make things happen overlooks the hard work required to create successful content, brands, and companies. As with many of her previous projects, this cooking show is likely to never see the light of day, and Netflix executives will probably cancel it, realizing there's no value in promoting a non-existent brand. Meghan's narcissism and laziness will ensure this cooking show is another failure.
