Jimmy Fallon DITCHES Prince Harry for Clooney's Awards After Filming To nightmares

Jimmy Fallon recently filmed an awkward Halloween segment with Prince Harry, only to leave him behind and head off to the Clooney Foundation's Albie Awards without a second thought.

Jimmy Fallon DITCHES Prince Harry for Clooney's Awards After Filming To nightmares

Fallon didn’t even consider inviting Harry as his plus-one. It seems even Fallon knew that bringing Harry to such an exclusive New York City event might dampen the atmosphere. On September 26th, Harry made an unexpected appearance on Fallon’s show—not because he was invited, but because he just showed up and took the microphone, as if he were still relevant. Meanwhile, his public relations missteps in New York were making headlines, reinforcing the perception that his wife had pulled him down to her level.

While Harry was struggling to remain in the spotlight on Fallon’s talk show, the real action was happening across town at the Albie Awards—a glamorous gala hosted by George and Amal Clooney, who are actual A-listers. Naturally, Jimmy Fallon was on the guest list, but Prince Harry was notably absent. After filming the cringeworthy Halloween bit, Fallon probably said, "Nice try, but I’m off to hang with people who get invited to the real events." It's amusing, in a way, that Harry didn’t manage to snag an invite to such a high-profile gathering. Wasn’t this the perfect chance for him to rehabilitate his public image? One might think he could still leverage his supposed charm—the one he supposedly had before his marriage—to secure a place at the event, but he couldn't make it happen.

It’s worth remembering that the Clooneys were at Harry’s wedding, yet they apparently didn’t feel the need to include him at their prestigious charity gala. You’d think they might owe him something after he invited these random Hollywood elites to his royal wedding. But when it was their turn to extend an invitation—silence. This could have been a golden opportunity for Harry to remind the world of the old, charming prince, unencumbered by his wife’s influence. But alas, it was a missed opportunity. Even if Harry had been invited, would it have made any difference? His current PR campaign—whatever its intended goal—is floundering. He’s still acting like a celebrity, but now without any real cause. He has no body of work to justify his antics, making him come off as just another wealthy man married to someone even less relevant, both believing they deserve attention simply for being present.

And while Harry continues trying to prove his charm to the world, his wife ensures that no one takes him seriously. Let’s not forget the Clooneys themselves. They used to be all-in with the Sussexes, attending their wedding, lending them their private jet, and even hosting them at their villa in Italy. George Clooney publicly defended Meghan Markle at one point, but it seems their enthusiasm for the royal couple has since waned. It didn’t take long for the Clooneys to see the reality, and Harry probably didn’t help his case by breaching their privacy in his memoir Spare, where he mentioned their home in Lake Como. To make matters worse, Meghan seemingly hinted that Amal Clooney was eager to be her friend, as though Amal—an internationally respected human rights lawyer—needed validation from a former royal whose relevance has faded.
