Meghan Markle Goes Back to UK In Anger to Sign NDA With King Charles

Meghan Markle’s ongoing relationship with the British Royal Family has once again drawn attention, with recent developments indicating heightened tensions.

Meghan Markle Goes Back to UK In Anger to Sign NDA With King Charles

According to inside sources, Meghan has abruptly canceled her planned trip to the UK next month, despite having finalized all the arrangements. It appears that the decision may be linked to alleged threats made by members of the royal household. A few weeks ago, it was announced that Meghan planned to return to London in early September to attend philanthropic events and reconnect with friends.

This would have been her first visit since she and Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties in 2020. Naturally, the planned trip sparked numerous questions: Would she meet with any members of the Royal Family? Had the rifts from the explosive 2021 Oprah interview begun to heal? However, it seems the visit was preemptively canceled before Meghan even boarded a plane. Sources suggest that senior members of the Royal Family, particularly Prince William and King Charles III, made it clear that her visit would not be welcome.

Reportedly, the Royal Family threatened that if Meghan traveled to the UK, certain hard truths about her children, Archie and Lilibet, would be made public. Specifically, there were claims that documentary evidence exists proving that Archie and Lilibet are not eligible for titles or security protection, contrary to what Meghan has previously asserted. Insiders indicate that the Royals have been gathering evidence to counter Meghan’s narrative regarding her children's place in the line of succession, and they were prepared to disclose this information if she proceeded with the trip.

Understandably, Meghan chose to avoid subjecting her children to such intense scrutiny and potential media fallout. Consequently, she reluctantly called off her trip, which came as a disappointment to the organizations she had planned to visit. One can only imagine the emotional toll this must have taken on Meghan, facing what seems like threats against her children from within the Royal Family. This incident marks another low point in the already strained relationship between the Sussexes and the British monarchy.

This latest development adds fuel to speculation that certain Royals, particularly Prince William, have never fully embraced Meghan from the start. From the beginning of Meghan and Harry’s relationship, William is said to have harbored doubts about her intentions. As Meghan and Harry distanced themselves from the traditional Royal framework, these tensions escalated. The Oprah interview, in which Meghan and Harry aired their grievances to a global audience, only intensified the divide.

One key issue that may be at the center of these disputes is Archie and Lilibet’s titles and security protection. From the beginning, there has been confusion over Archie’s official title. When Archie was born, he was named Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, rather than receiving the title of Prince. Meghan has implied that this decision was racially motivated, based on conversations she had with unnamed family members during her pregnancy. However, Palace sources insist that the decision was based solely on protocol established in a 1917 royal letters patent, which dictates that only the grandchildren of the reigning monarch through the male line are automatically entitled to the prince or princess style. As Archie’s grandfather, King Charles, was not the reigning monarch at the time of his birth, he did not qualify for a royal title.

Skeptics argue that Meghan, being well-versed in royal protocols, should have been aware of this rule. There is speculation that the Royals have collected evidence, possibly in the form of emails or witness testimonies, that disputes Meghan’s version of events surrounding Archie’s title. If this information were to be made public, it could severely damage her credibility regarding her other claims of racial discrimination within the Royal Family.

The issue of security protection is similarly complex. When Meghan and Harry stepped back from their roles as senior working royals, they lost their access to Metropolitan Police security, which is funded by British taxpayers. Meghan and Harry have since argued that they should still receive privately funded security, particularly when visiting the UK. However, Palace insiders suggest that there are documents outlining the security protocols that were explained to the couple before they left their royal roles, including the stipulation that UK police protection would be forfeited. Additionally, it is rumored that the Royals may present evidence of alternative security arrangements that were offered to Meghan and Harry, which they declined. If true, this could further challenge their narrative that they were unfairly stripped of necessary protection.
