Prince Harry has shared details about his upcoming Christmas plans, addressing rumors suggesting he might spend the festive season with the Royal Family in the UK.
This year, the Duke of Sussex will focus on bringing cheer to bereaved military children through his role as Global Ambassador for Scotty's Little Soldiers, a charity supporting children who have lost a parent in the armed forces.
In a heartfelt gesture, Prince Harry has invited members of the charity to join him for a special virtual Christmas event on December 10. During the session, he will reflect on his personal holiday experiences and respond to pre-submitted questions from the children.
An email sent to charity members detailed the event, stating, “Prince Harry would like to jump on a call with as many of our members as possible to wish them all a Merry Christmas.” According to The Express, the message further added, “He appreciates that the festive season can be hard for our members and wants them to know he is thinking of them.”
The communication also described the event as an opportunity for participants to “get to know the Duke loads better and find out what Christmas is like for a Prince!”
Given the expected high turnout, most attendees will remain muted during the call. However, five selected participants will assist in running the session and have the rare opportunity to interact directly with the Duke.
This thoughtful initiative highlights Prince Harry’s commitment to supporting military families and ensuring that the festive spirit reaches those who need it most.
