Lawyer Spills the Beans About 'As Ever' After Being FIRED by Meghan Markle

Megan Markle never fails to find new ways to create chaos, and this time, she’s entangled in a legal battle so absurd that even her own lawyer has had enough.

Lawyer Spills the Beans About 'As Ever' After Being FIRED by Meghan Markle

According to Paula M’s latest exposé, Megan is caught in a trademark dispute over her newest rebrand—one that ironically reflects her consistent pattern of failure. The issue? Her legal team botched the process so badly that her lawyer abandoned ship faster than Netflix executives dodging yet another one of her uninspiring pitches.

Megan initially filed for the "As Ever" trademark, but unsurprisingly, it was rejected due to the minor inconvenience of existing trademarks and legal protocols. Who would have thought you couldn’t simply slap your name on something and claim ownership? Apparently not Megan.

After realizing she had once again acted prematurely, her legal team scrambled to revise the application by removing any reference to clothing. Conveniently, in January 2024, the media reported that the brand had been approved. Except, of course, it hadn’t. Instead of taking the opportunity to educate herself on how trademarks actually work, Megan made the bold decision to fire her longtime lawyer—the very person who had been managing her business dealings for years. And he isn’t going quietly.

According to Paula M, this particular lawyer has been involved in all of Megan’s highly questionable Delaware-based business ventures. In other words, he knows where all the metaphorical (or possibly literal) bodies are buried. Thanks to Megan’s impeccable talent for burning bridges, he might just start talking. To make matters even more ridiculous, Megan is now attempting to trademark "As Ever" for a brand that includes coffee. Because apparently, one failed investment in Clever Brands wasn’t enough, and now she wants to compete with her own company. Meanwhile, she is also filing for rights to produce film, audio, and web series under the same brand, despite already having Archewell Productions for that purpose. So why create another entity? Could it be that she’s trying to distance herself from joint ventures with Harry? Interesting.

Naturally, none of this is Megan’s fault. No, the blame falls on her former lawyer, the incompetent media, and perhaps even the alignment of the planets. Playing the victim is her signature move. Allegedly, she ghosted her lawyer without a word, leaving him to discover his termination after the fact. Classy. What was initially just another questionable business maneuver has now escalated into a full-blown disaster, with the potential to spiral into a messy legal battle.

So what’s next for the Duchess of Rebranding? Perhaps another tearful documentary about how she was once again wronged by the cruel legal system? A heartfelt interview about her noble intentions to create something meaningful? Or maybe she’ll launch yet another brand, only to watch it crash and burn like all the rest.
