SNL Gears Up to ROAST Meghan Markle with Love, Meghan Spoof

Saturday Night Live is reportedly preparing to deliver the spoof everyone anticipated—a hilariously ruthless take on Meghan Markle’s cooking show, With Love, Meghan.

SNL Gears Up to ROAST Meghan Markle with Love, Meghan Spoof

When life hands you dried flowers and lukewarm tap water, you make… well, nothing of substance. But SNL is set to transform it into comedic gold. For those blissfully unaware, With Love, Meghan is a painfully awkward attempt to showcase Meghan’s culinary "skills," which seem to involve little more than sprinkling petals onto random dishes while maintaining the strained grin of someone trapped at a royal Christmas gathering. The show has already been relentlessly mocked for its sheer absurdity, making it an obvious target for SNL before South Park beats them to it. Given that With Love, Meghan is practically self-parody, SNL won’t have to stretch too far to make it funny.

The hypothetical dream cast for this skit is a masterclass in comedic brilliance. Maya Rudolph is the perfect choice to play Meghan Markle, as no one captures an overly bronzed, excessively accessorized, vocal fry-infused duchess quite like her. Expect exaggerated hand gestures, a signature forced smile, and an overwhelming sense of self-importance that would make even Shakespearean actors seem subtle. Watch as Meghan proudly explains how to "infuse ice cubes with love" by pouring tap water into a tray and freezing it.

Bowen Yang will take on the role of every "expert" guest, seamlessly rotating between Meghan’s revolving door of friends, including makeup artist Daniel Martin, chef Roy Choi, and skincare mogul Vicky Tsai. His entire performance will likely be funnier than anything actually featured on With Love, Meghan.

Heidi Gardner will play Delfina Blaquier, because every celebrity-hosted cooking show needs a sidekick inexplicably wielding a polo crop to smack away hands reaching for food. She will also ensure the phrase "our boys" is uttered no fewer than 27 times.

Chloe Fineman will step into the role of Victoria Jackson, shouting an 800-number for bronzer between attempts to fix Meghan’s perpetually uneven glow. Meanwhile, Aidy Bryant will play Mindy Kaling, Meghan’s beloved friend whom she treats like an annoying subordinate. Expect Meghan to screech, "Don’t you know I’m Sussex’s damaged princess?" while Mindy cowers in the corner, reevaluating all her life choices.

Sarah Sherman will appear as Alice Waters, the legendary chef reduced to a horrified wreck as Meghan butchers a simple vegetable medley. "Stop! You’re murdering them!" she shrieks, clutching her pearls as Meghan violently hacks apart an innocent zucchini.

Ego Nwodim will play Doria Ragland, Meghan’s ever-serene mother, calmly offering fresh produce from an artisan-made trug—because even in satire, a touch of realism is necessary.

Mikey Day will transform into Prince Harry, sporting a bald cap with strategically placed ginger tufts. He will spend most of the skit looking lost, confused, and slightly terrified. His one line? "Who put these disgusting dead flowers on my bangers and mash?" before bolting off set as a swarm of bees chases him away.

Bobby Moynihan will make a grand return as Thomas Markle, arriving just as Meghan tearfully delivers a speech about family and friendship being everything. He knocks at the door, only for it to be slammed in his face—because some things never change.

If SNL truly wants to capture the essence of With Love, Meghan, they might as well save themselves the effort and just air actual clips of the show with a golf-style whisper commentary: "And here we see Meghan Markle, effortlessly placing a single edible flower atop a pile of quinoa… truly groundbreaking television."

While it’s almost too tragic to mock, the reality is that With Love, Meghan has already become a parody of itself. SNL might just be the icing on this gluten-free, dairy-free, ego-laden cake. The only real question is whether they can air the skit before South Park turns it into another instant classic. Time is ticking, Lorne Michaels—don’t let us down.
