Brad Pitt considered a character actor
William Bradley Pitt was born in 1963 in the small town of Shawnee, Oklahoma, into a religious family of Baptists.
After graduating from high school, he studied journalism and advertising in college, but he didn't start his own profession, but instead headed out to conquer Hollywood with $325 in his pocket. From that moment on, he rejected his full name and began to be simply Brad Pitt.
Before becoming a star, young Brad worked as a longshoreman, a driver and even dressed as the mascot of the El Pollo Loco restaurant. He had to find money to pay for acting classes and accommodation. Soon the young man was noticed and they began to invite him to play secondary roles in films and television series.
“I had to dance in a chicken suit in front of a fast food restaurant to attract people. So, in practice, I discovered what advertising means, something I studied for 4 years at university”.
The first film with Pitt's participation, The Dark Side of the Sun, came out only after 10 years of being filmed because part of the tape had been lost in the course of the work.
At the beginning of his career, Pitt was quite busy with an unusual project called Holli's World, in which actors and cartoon characters were mixed. Unfortunately, the film flopped during its screening.
