José Ángel Llamas was a recognized heartthrob of Mexican soap operas who for more than a decade fell in love with the public. The actor became one of the most important male faces in the artistic world and was known in Mexico and throughout Latin America.

He participated in a large number of telenovelas such as “Indomitable Soul”, “Sassy Love” and “Nada Personal”, earning critical acclaim for his talent and professionalism. He worked for Televisa, TV Azteca and Telemundo, television houses where he led various projects that consolidated his career as an actor.

José Ángel Llamas is a Mexican actor, known for his roles as Pelluco and Rodolfo in Amor descarado and in the telenovela La vendetta in the role of Luis Miguel Ariza.

When he was at the height of his success, José Ángel Llamas confessed to feeling dissatisfied and without the will to live. José Ángel Llamas made his debut in the artistic medium at the end of the nineties when he starred in the successful telenovela "Nada personal" (1996), for his participation in it he received the nomination for revelation of the year at the ACE Awards granted by the Association of Chroniclers of Shows of New York and a special award, “El Sol de Oro”, for best leading actor in a telenovela in the same year.

In 1997 he participated in the play "Señora bourgeois wants young boy" by Alfonso Paso, for which he received recognition from the House of Culture of Irapuato, Guanajuato (Mexico).

In 1998 he was a guest actor in the telenovela "Too much heart". That same year he acted in the starring role of the telenovela "Tentaciones" and made the humorous program "Buenos para nada".
