Justin Bieber wins first stage of lawsuit against women who accused him of abuse

Justin Bieber warned that he would not allow baseless accusations by two women on social media to go unpunished. The Canadian singer even defended himself and proved with evidence that the stories are false, but he took the case seriously and is in court, suing both women for defamation.

And if that wasn't enough, the interpreter of "Intentions" won his first victory in that legal battle. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Terry Green granted a motion to subpoena Twitter for this social network to reveal the identities of the users of the two anonymous accounts that accused the singer of abuse.

"We just want to find out who is behind these two accounts and if they could be the same person," Justin Bieber's attorney said in an interview with NBC Los Angeles. The artist's defamation process goes against two anonymous Twitter accounts, which use the names of Danielle and Kadi as a pseudonym.

As he himself demonstrated in a series of posts on his personal Twitter account, Bieber knows that he will win this lawsuit, unless proof is shown that the artist did inappropriately touch both fans. Justin Drew believes that these people are the kind of fans who wait at the doors of hotels; "desperate to meet him and desperate to have fame," as the lawsuit documents state.
According to the accusations, on the day of the alleged harassment, Justin was at the MET Gala event in 2015. On the other hand, he was in the company of his girlfriend Selena Gómez and showed that he never stayed at the mentioned hotel. Still in the process, Bieber believes that the two accusations may have come from the same person with the sole purpose of ruining his reputation.

“Rumors are rumours, but abuse is something I don't take lightly. He wishes he had spoken up right away, but out of respect for so many victims who deal with these issues on a daily basis; I wanted to make sure I had substantiated the facts before making any statement," Justin Bieber wrote on his Twitter account, publicly defending himself.
