Dakota Fanning talks about her scene in the movie 'Very Good Girls'

In a recent interview for MTV, Dakota Fanning spoke about her experience on the set of 'Very Good Girls'.

The years also pass for the young actress whom we have known since her early childhood, having already starred in her first in a film.

The actress confessed: "Yeah, well, I've never done this before and it was very recent that I could do it. I had just turned 18 so yeah, it was, which is kind of a delicate thing, but it's part of life." She has also made it clear that it is a tricky situation for any actor: "No one is ever comfortable (doing love scenes)."

The actor who shares the famous scene with the actress, Boyd Holbrook, reports that the realism of the scene will make fans connect with what Fanning is trying to convey: "Just like in life it's not always so perfect and brilliant. It's very difficult at times, especially that. This movie is about coming into life, the first experience, so it's all about what's around and you don't have to take that too seriously."

From girls to women

'Very Good Girls' is written and directed by newcomer Naomi Foner. It narrates the passage to maturity of two teenagers who decide, after finishing high school, to lose their virginity during the summer. The problem arises when the two decide to do it with the same person, a bohemian street artist. In the cast we also find Elizabeth Olsen, Demi Moore, Richard Dreyfuss and Ellen Barkin. The film premiered at the last Sundance Festival and received a lukewarm reception.
