Maisie Williams didn't like playing Arya Stark
'Game of Thrones' actress and actress Maisie Williams reveals that she was upset about her role as Arya Stark on the show.
Williams cites her puberty and the associated changes in her own body as the reason for her dislike. As a result, her body image was no longer consistent with what she displayed to the public:
"I think when I started to become a woman, I got mad at Arya because she couldn't express who she had become," the Bristol, England-based actress told GQ. "And then I also got mad at my body, because it didn't match the part of me that the world was celebrating."
Williams has fond memories of Dreh
However, that doesn't mean she's negative about her time on set. On the other hand. Williams says the cast of the HBO series is the best thing that has ever happened to her. When asked if she misses Game Of Thrones, Maisie Williams replies, "I don't think it's healthy." [es zu vermissen]because I loved it I love looking at it and I'm very proud of it. But why should I be sad about the greatest thing that has happened to me? I don't want to associate that with feelings of pain."
Maisie Williams played the young orphan Arya Stark in the fantasy series Game of Thrones from 2011 to 2019. For her performance, she received the Saturn Award for Best Young TV Actress at the Berlinale 2015. She was also nominated for a Emmy.
