Broncano explodes after being accused of making fun of the death of the run over girl in Madrid

David Broncano has responded to Hermann Tertsch for his attack on 'La Resistencia' based on false news

The presenter of the successful program La Resistencia, David Broncano, is quite cautious with his statements on social networks. He usually doesn't write much on Twitter and when he does, it's to share the best moments of the programs he works on, such as Modern Life or La Resistencia. However, a tweet in which Hermann Tertsch accused the presenter of laughing at the 6-year-old girl who died in Madrid this week has made Broncano unable to remain silent.

The comedy program presented by David Broncano, La Resistencia, has been accused of having laughed at the six-year-old girl who died this week due to an accidental hit at the Fomento Montealto school. But the attacks are based on a moment in the program that has nothing to do with the girl's terrible death.

The twitter user, @GregorioRCh, has published a tweet in which he took out of context a humorous 'sketch' of La Resistencia that they made last week. In this tweet you can see the video of a moment of the program with the headline "Deadly tragedy at the exit of a school in Madrid" below trying to relate the television moment with the accident at the Fomento Montealto school. Although the moment was broadcast the same night as the accident, the program is not live and is recorded hours before in the afternoon.

A digital newspaper echoed this Twitter post, without first contrasting whether or not the joke referred to the outrage, publishing the false news with a headline that accuses the Broncano program of "mocking the death of a six-year-old girl ". Shortly after, Hermann Testch quoted this false news on Twitter and used it to attack the current Government of Spain.

We are governed by scoundrels who want to degrade us until we fall to their level of infamy. People like Alvarez Pallete from Telefónica help them.

This tweet has angered David Broncano and he has replied to Tertsch's publication assuring that it was impossible for the program to laugh at the accident because that joke was conceived and recorded hours before the tragedy. The program is broadcast at twelve at night, but it is recorded the same day in the afternoon, so when they thought of the joke, the outrage had not even occurred. Also, the presenter has said that he should be ashamed of "the disgusting manipulators who use the death of a girl for their  political purposes."

As David Broncano states, the controversial moment belongs to the night of November 4. That day, Jorge Ponce, collaborator of La Resistencia, spoke about the schools that leave traditional education and promote an alternative didactics. And as an example of a student of this type of school, an uncontrollable child came on stage. This boy was based on Victor of Aveyron, the boy from the woods of France who inspired François Truffaut for the film The Little Savage. At the end of the section, the boy left the set and a sign appeared that said “El Hayedo de Montealto School. Education. creativity. Freedom" (Education. Creativity. Freedom, in Spanish) making fun of this type of education centers.

After the controversy in networks, the newspaper that initially echoed the news and accused La Resistencia of making fun of the 6-year-old girl, has rectified and has withdrawn the news from its website. At the moment, Hermann Tertsch has not apologized for the false accusations against him.

Broncano's anger on Twitter

It is not the first time that David Broncano jumps in front of some headlines and news from the media. The last one was when, in the middle of the Olympics, a well-known newspaper published a story with the headline: "Paula Badosa dazzles at the Tokyo Games. The tennis player, former David Broncano, qualified for the JJ quarterfinals on Tuesday.

At that time, Broncano retweeted the publication and commented: "These consider that to talk about one of the best athletes in the world it is necessary to quote me, who is watching the Games lying on a sofa, just because I am a famous man. It is despicable and unfair, and it must stop now.
