The actress turns 20 and is known throughout the world thanks to her role in the epic HBO series
From the first season of "Game of Thrones", Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) made it clear that she did not want to be a princess. She let Ned Stark, her father, know whenever she could. Unlike her sister Sansa, she wanted to have her sword and learn how to defend against it.
From that naughty little girl that we saw in the first chapters of the series based on the work of George R.R. Martin, there's not much left. Much has happened in the universe of the series and Arya has had to survive and pursue her own dreams and her revenge: the list of people who harmed her and her family keeps getting smaller.
The mother of dragons rises from the ashes
Daenerys's slow but dramatic transformation in Game of Thrones features jaw-dropping visuals that are permanently etched into the hearts of fans. Such a beautiful scene is found right at the end of the season 1 finale episode, "Fire and Blood."
Daenerys places her dragon eggs on Khal Drogo's funeral pyre and orders Ser Jorah to bind Mirri Maz Duur to it. She declares herself the Queen of her new Khalasar and promises to protect them from any danger. As everyone steps aside, she walks fearlessly towards the pyre, and at dawn, Jorah and her Khalasar find her unharmed with three baby dragons clinging to her. The dragon hatching scene sets the tone for Daenerys' character and viewers know not to be trifled with.
Daenerys waits outside the walls of Yunkai
Season 3's finale episode "Mhysa" is notable for its visually stunning cinematography, and the particular scene filmed outside the walls of Yunkai lives on in the hearts of all fans. It features Daenerys and her advisors waiting for the free people of the city.
The Yunkish enthusiastically hail her as hers "Mhysa" of hers, which translates as "mother" in the ancient Giscari language. As the chants increase in volume, Daenerys realizes that she has found love and admiration in the people for her. The scene is masterfully shot under bright blue skies and conveys that Daenerys lives and breathes to break the wheel of tyranny.
